Yilo Cultural Center in Koukouldi: Minister Bassolma lays the foundation stone

Wednesday May 15, 2024 was dedicated to the celebration of the day of customs and traditions in Burkina Faso. On the occasion, the Minister in charge of the Civil Service, Bassolma Bazié, surrounded by some members of the government, proceeded to lay the first stone of the Yilo Cultural Center of Koukouldi in the commune of Tenado, province of Sanguié, region from the Central West.A huge crowd stormed the village of Koukouldi to witness the said ceremony.Indeed, these beautiful people coming from the four corners of the Center-West region and even the country, did not hesitate to mark with a white stone, the celebration of this day dedicated to tradition and the manes of the ancestors.This cultural center, it should be remembered, effectively aims to pay homage and above all safeguard the tradition, the basis of the beliefs of African populations.According to the promoter, Bassolma Bazié, this center will be the center of popular African beliefs where the orphan, the pregnant woman, the old man and th e FDS engaged at the front, will undoubtedly find comfort, support and psychological recovery, all things capable of laying the foundations for the reintegration of those left behind.The Yilo cultural center in Koukouldi is a project that dates back to 2017 with the sole aim of restoring and promoting tradition, our springboard, our source of supply of the intrinsic values ????of our terroirs.Source: Burkina Information Agency
