Zondoma: The town of Gourcy will now host a unit of the Republican Security Company (CRS). The announcement was made by the High Commissioner of the Zondoma province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe, during the flag-raising ceremony held on Monday, February 9, 2026, in Gourcy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the active forces of Zondoma enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of the CRS unit in Gourcy this February. The unit, under the command of Halidou Segda, was presented at the high commission of Gourcy during the formal flag-raising event.

The High Commissioner, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe, also revealed plans for opening a demonstration store, known as FASO YAAR, which will provide several types of essential products to the population of Zondoma in the coming days. In his address, he commended the fighting forces for their dedication, which has recently contributed to enhancing security in the province.

In addition to highlighting the significance of the flag-raising ceremony, the province's top official announced the rotating resumption of services.
