Bale: A team from the Agency for Community Entrepreneurship (APEC) held an awareness and information session on promoting community entrepreneurship through shareholding on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Boromo. This session, aimed at mobilizing shareholders, was moderated by the president of the special delegation, Esaie Bamogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative by APEC aimed to explain the ongoing community entrepreneurship program to the population to gain their support. Several socio-professional actors and opinion leaders were mobilized at the invitation of Esaie Bamogo.
The conference focused on a presentation of the presidential initiative to promote and popularize the community entrepreneurship system through community shareholding. Participants were shown completed projects funded by the first phase and engaged in discussions, sharing concerns and suggestions.
Participants expressed interest in the presentation on APEC's various activities and operational tomato farms. Details about the subscription mechanism and the responsible team in the Boromo commune were also shared.
Participants highlighted that the conference offered insights into APEC and community shareholding, showcasing achievements and the benefits of joining the initiative. They emphasized Burkina Faso's need for industrialization and production to meet population demands and viewed APEC as an endogenous solution worth supporting.
Speakers expressed backing for the presidential initiative and proposed enhancing local communication by APEC to improve performance and membership. Suggestions included establishing better-equipped subscription teams, creating subscriber-friendly spaces, and providing regular updates to build trust.
Esaie Bamogo expressed satisfaction with the participant mobilization and urged trust in authorities, encouraging large-scale subscriptions to APEC. The mission team, led by Manassira Sanou, also expressed contentment with the turnout and discussions, assuring participants that their concerns were addressed.
