Authorities Commend Private High School El Hadj Tahibou Ou©draogo for Educational Excellence

Zondoma: Authorities praise the merit of the private high school El Hadj Tahibou Ou©draogo in Gourcy as it concluded its educational activities this Saturday, July 19, 2025. The ceremony, chaired by the Secretary General of the Zondoma province, Anatole Pengdwend© Kabor©, featured rewards for top students, practical advice, and tree planting.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the founder of the high school, El Adj Ousmana Ou©draogo, stated that the main objective of the event was to express gratitude to all stakeholders, including parents, students, teachers, and administrative staff, whose efforts have helped the institution achieve commendable results over the years. He encouraged the students to persevere and promised to enhance the conditions for further academic improvement.

Addressing the graduates, the founder emphasized the importance of redoubling efforts as they continue their studies. The Secretary General, Anatole Pengdwend© Kabor©, commended the high school for its performance in exams conducted under challenging conditions and its role in advancing education in the province.

The representative of the provincial director responsible for secondary education and vocational training, Boukar© Koumb¨m, echoed this sentiment, recognizing the high school as one of the best in the province.

The headmaster of Zakaria Sawadogo high school highlighted a 25.71% success rate in the BEPC exam and 64.10% in the Baccalaureate exam for 2025, achieved despite challenges faced by private institutions. Before the awards ceremony, students received expert advice to aid in their career path decisions, deemed crucial for their university studies.

Top awards were given to Amir Kinda, Romaric Ou©draogo, and Lassan© Romba for excelling in the BEPC, BAC A, and Baccalaureate D exams, respectively. Since its opening in 2018 with three classes, the private high school has grown to accommodate 263 students across six classes. The ceremony concluded with the planting of around thirty trees to enhance the school's courtyard.
