Jean Bassinga’s Debut Book Highlights Women’s Role in Faith and Society

Ouagadougou: Teacher and writer Jean Bassinga recently held a book signing event for his debut publication, "Servant of Christ: Woman of Faith, Builder of Destinies."

According to Burkina Information Agency, the book aims to encourage women who are engaged in God's work at home and in society, recognizing the difficulties and misunderstandings they face despite their contributions.

The writer emphasizes that the book serves as a reminder that "God accompanies women in their struggles and assures them of victory." It underscores the significant role women play in the home, church service, and society, drawing inspiration from biblical figures such as Deborah, Esther, and Ruth, who are portrayed as models of faith and commitment.

Jean Bassinga also mentions that the book acts as a guide for women, particularly those facing spiritual and social challenges, such as widows and single women. It seeks to motivate them to make a positive impact in their communities and to engage in various fields, including entrepreneurship.

The 251-page book is priced at 5,000 CFA francs and is available in several bookstores across Ouagadougou, including Librairie Flamme, Librairie Centrale, Librairie GrSce de Dieu, and Librairie Wendsongda.
