Gaoua: Motorcyclists celebrate resilience and national cohesion on the roads After covering more than 300 kilometers between Po and Gaoua, the motorcyclists of the West Coast Adventure completed the third stage of the first edition of the Burkina Faso Motorcycle Tour on Monday evening. Warmly welcomed at Gaoua's Place de la Nation by the local population, in the presence of administrative authorities, they dedicated their journey to peace, resilience, and the promotion of national cultural heritage.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the motorcyclists supported ten "Nation Gems" by providing them with school kits. In total, seventy children will benefit from this initiative during the tour. The participants also visited the Museum of Civilizations of the Djoro Peoples.

The club president, Adama Oudraogo, also known as Demsy, expressed his satisfaction at having reached the city of Bafuji. "After the longest and most difficult stage of the tour, the motorcyclists arrived safely in Gaoua, with a few problems, but health-wise, everything is fine thanks to God," he said, praising the spirit of solidarity among the participants.

For Mr. Oudraogo, this adventure is above all a message of hope and perseverance. "Burkina Faso is a resilient country. We are therefore part of this dynamic of peace, tourism, and the promotion of cultural heritage," he concluded.

The High Commissioner of Poni Province, Bepampo Ouoba, praised the initiative, which he saw as a symbol of national unity. "The motorcyclists' gesture towards the 'Nuggets of the Nation' is a true source of satisfaction, as it contributes to social cohesion and the mobilization of energies around the ideals of developing a new Burkina Faso."

The next leg of the journey will link Gaoua to Bobo-Dioulasso, via Dibougou, a section described as shorter and easier. The motorcyclists left Gaoua this Tuesday morning to continue their adventure, a symbol of courage, passion, and Burkinabe pride.
