Zoundw©ogo: The chiefs of the Poe-Naaba lineage paraded to celebrate their appointment. The new traditional chiefs from this lineage paraded through the streets of Manga on Sunday, marking the 'na-pousgo', a traditional march that signifies their assumption of office and their commitment to their customary hierarchy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the tradition dictates that newly appointed chiefs, within three months of their appointment, tour the markets to bless the goods, promote social cohesion, and receive the blessings of the people. This event also serves as a symbolic gesture of acknowledgment towards the customary authorities.

Through this solemn procession, the chiefs of the Poe-Naaba lineage showed their gratitude to the traditional leaders who selected them, reaffirming their commitment to the values of respect, loyalty, and discipline that underpin the customary organization.

Accompanied by dignitaries, relatives, and supporters, the procession provided the inhabitants of Manga with a display rich in cultural symbols.
